Qualifications

• Minimum GPA of 3.0 in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics (BS/BA/MSA/MST/Certificate Program).
• Has foundational accounting knowledge (i.e., GAAP and GAAS).
• Has earned enough units (or is close) to sit for the CPA exam.
• Demonstrated interest in pursuing or obtaining CPA licensure.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform audit procedures to assess the accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
• Assist in evaluating and testing the effectiveness of internal control systems.
• Build relationships with clients and respond to inquiries while delivering quality results.
• Analyze financial statements and disclosures to identify misstatements or discrepancies and take corrective actions.
• Review client records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Pursue ongoing training and certifications such as CPA.
