Job summary

BPM LLP is seeking an Assurance Associate I to join our audit team in a collaborative, growth‑driven environment. You will learn audit procedures, work with clients across industries, and be supported by a Coach and Buddy as you advance toward CPA licensure.

You will gain exposure to GAAP/GAAS, build internal control testing skills, and develop strong client relationships while contributing to accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 in Accounting/Business/Finance/Economics.
• Foundational accounting knowledge (GAAP/GAAS).
• Has earned enough units (or is close) to sit for the CPA exam.
• Shows interest in pursuing CPA licensure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform audit procedures to assess the accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
• Assist in evaluating and testing the effectiveness of internal control systems.
• Build relationships with clients and respond to inquiries, delivering quality results.
• Analyze financial statements and disclosures to identify material misstatements and take corrective actions.
• Review client records to ensure accuracy, and support ongoing professional development.
