Job summary

DGS Office of External Affairs seeks an Auditor 1 in Binghamton to perform financial and operational audits under Auditor 2 supervision. The role includes supervising staff, and is full-time and permanent with a compressed four-day workweek and telecommuting options.

Required are a bachelor’s in accounting/auditing/taxation (or equivalent with 24 hours in the field) and relevant experience or a CPA license, plus GAAP knowledge and strong writing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, auditing, or taxation or equivalent with 24 semester credit hours in accounting/auditing/taxation
• For full Auditor 1: two years of professional experience in accounting/auditing or financial internal/field auditing or
• Master's degree plus one year experience or CPA license
