Job summary

Career Developers Inc. is seeking a Staff Auditor in Melville, NY (on-site 3-4 days/week) to join a fast-growing financial services advisory firm.

The role involves audits of financial institutions, collaboration with senior staff, and delivering rigorous testing and documentation during busy seasons. Ideal candidates have 2 busy seasons of public accounting audit experience, strong audit methodology knowledge, and excellent communications.

Qualifications

• At least 2 busy seasons of public accounting audit experience.
• Strong understanding of audit methodology.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work on-site in Melville, NY 3–4 days/week.
• Ambition to pursue a CPA license (if not already licensed).

Responsibilities

• Assist in audits of financial institutions and related entities.
• Perform substantive audit testing and document findings.
• Collaborate with seniors and managers to execute audit plans.
• Engage with clients as needed, particularly during busy season.
