Weaver is seeking an Audit Associate to join our growing firm in Pasadena, CA. The role involves performing audit procedures on engagements, working closely with Senior Associates and Managers to resolve issues, and contributing to financial statement preparation.

The ideal candidate is a team player with initiative, effective communication, and the ability to handle multiple assignments. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA candidate status are required, with internship or light public

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA candidate status required.
• Internship or light experience in public accounting is expected.
• Basic familiarity with GAAP and GAAS is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform audit procedures on engagements as assigned.
• Collaborate with Senior Associates and Managers to resolve issues.
• Develop work papers and assist with financial statement preparation.
