Weaver is seeking an Audit Associate to join our growing firm. You will perform audit procedures on engagements and help complete audits, working closely with Senior Associates and Managers to identify and resolve issues, and develop your professional skills.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA candidacy, internship or light public accounting experience, and familiarity with GAAP and GAAS. A collaborative, team-focused environment is emphasized.

Qualifications

• CPA candidate.
• Internship or light experience in public accounting.
• Basic familiarity with GAAP and GAAS.

Responsibilities

• Perform audit procedures on engagements and assist with financial statement prep.
• Collaborate with Senior Associates and Managers to resolve issues encountered in audits.
• Develop clear work papers and plan your own professional development with your group leader.
• Manage multiple concurrent assignments of varying sizes and complexity.
