Accounting and Finance Recruiter and Certified Purple Squirrel Hunter

LHH has partnered with a client in Rockville, MD for an onsite daily temp to hire audit role. This role has 2 openings.

  1. Prepare and send audit announcement letters; update tracking systems and records.
  2. Collect and provide necessary documents for auditors; monitor the status of ongoing audits.
  3. Process completed audits and notify relevant parties of results and any outstanding contributions.
  4. Review and verify auditor invoices for accuracy.
  5. Process payments related to audits and delinquencies.
  6. Generate and send delinquency letters.

Required Abilities:

  • 3+ years of experience in a related field or a Bachelor's degree with 1-2 years of experience.
  • Prior auditing experience is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage complex issues while maintaining a positive and cooperative demeanor.
  • Promptly respond to leaders and stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Investigate and resolve issues collaboratively with participants, vendors, and internal departments.
