Job description

Marshall's Inside Connections, a leader in low voltage audio/video and burglar alarm installation, is seeking an experienced Audio/Video/Alarm Installer/Technician to help serve our residential and commercial customers in Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas. Our business is growing rapidly, and we have an immediate need for experienced technicians.

Responsibilities:

1. Install and maintain low voltage Audio/Video/Security systems.
2. Run and terminate RG-6 and Category 6 cables.
3. Commission new systems and ensure proper system layout.
4. Interact with designers, architects, and other industry professionals.
5. Read construction drawings/blueprints.

Qualifications:

1. Experience in the low voltage Audio/Video/Security industry.
2. Experience with Honeywell Vista and Alarm.com.
3. Basic knowledge of network design and IP Communications.
4. Excellent communication skills in all formats, establishing positive relationships with customers.
5. Professional appearance and reliable transportation.
6. Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
7. High School Diploma or higher.
8. Ability to pass a background check.
9. Ability to lift over 50 pounds.
10. Possess your own basic hand tools.
11. Must be willing to travel and able to stay overnight.
