Job summary

OhmComm, Inc. in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a skilled technician to install and program security and audio/video systems for builder clients. You will test devices, train customers, and update stock while ensuring top-notch service.

Responsibilities include installing CAT5/RG6 cabling, retrofitting wires, and troubleshooting systems. You will work independently under pressure, stay organized, and collaborate with team members to deliver reliable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Train customers on system use.

• Troubleshoot security/alarm systems and project audio/video installs.
• Follow policy to document data and customer feedback.
• Stay updated with new Audio/Video and Home Technologies.
• Support daily operations for builder clients.

Primary Responsibilities:

• New installations
• Programming security systems to a central station
• Testing all the devices
• Training the customer
• Retro new wires
• Keep track of stock
• Handle daily operational issues that come up for each builder client
• Security/alarm systems (installing/programming/troubleshooting)
• CAT5 and RG6 cabling systems (installing/retrofitting/terminating/etc.)
• Central vacuum systems, intercom systems (M&S/OnQ)
• Audio and video/media (install projectors and /cut in speakers/program remotes/troubleshoot/etc.)
• Stays updated with new and current Audio/Video and Home Technologies
• Follows company policy and procedure to maintain thorough data and customer feedback while optimizing the success.
