HearingLife in Arlington, VA is offering an Audiology Externship for AuD students to gain hands-on experience and mentorship from licensed audiologists. You will participate in comprehensive evaluations, patient engagement, and fitting support, with exposure to pediatric and vestibular testing.

This externship emphasizes ongoing learning with monthly workshops, virtual collaboration with externs nationwide, and potential pathways to full-time roles.

Salary range is $19-23/hr

Utilize top-of-the-line hearing technology from leading manufacturers to tailor solutions for patients. We use computer-based audiometers, conduct real ear verification, and utilize test box measures to uphold audiologic best practice.

Qualifications

Daily Extern Responsibilities

• Learn, ask questions to your preceptor.
• Appointment documentation
• Lead selection, fitting, follow-up, and service appointments
• Ordering/servicing hearing aids
• Earmold impressions
• Conduct follow up calls with patients.
• Participate in clinic/company meetings.
• Any task beneficial to your clinic
