Job summary

Advocate Health in Greenfield, TN is seeking an Audiology Assistant to support patient care in a busy clinic. You will assist with hearing aid repairs, measurements, and scheduling, under the direction of an audiologist.

No prior experience required; a high school diploma is expected. You should have strong communication, attention to detail, and comfort with EMR systems and Microsoft Office. The role is on-site, 40 hours weekly, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Assists with patients using appropriate techniques and procedures to perform minor hearing aid repairs, cleanings and programming.
• Assists audiologist in direct patient care as needed per site.
• Communicates with audiologist and other members of the health care team. Documents and communicates accurate and timely information regarding patient questions and needs.
• Performs occupational health hearing tests and counseling per site requirements.
• Provides office support: scheduling, exam rooms, stocking, and referrals processing.
• Demonstrates knowledge of age-specific patient needs and supports department policies.
