HearingLife in Crystal Lake, IL is seeking an Audiologist or Hearing Aid Specialist to diagnose and manage hearing loss, fitting and counseling patients, and driving clinic growth. The role emphasizes patient care, technical expertise with audiometric equipment, and community outreach.

You will work under state licensing standards, aiming to grow patient population while achieving financial KPIs. Competitive salary plus uncapped commission and relocation/sign-on incentives offered.

Qualifikationen

• Active Hearing Aid Dispensing License or Audiology License
• 2+ years Hearing Aid sales experience or 2 years equivalent in industry training under a licensed HIS or AuD

Aufgaben

• Provide quality care and aftercare of dispensing services such as hearing tests, hearing aid fittings, educate and train hearing aid users of best practices.
• Perform checks on hearing aids and other amplification devices. This includes but is not limited to troubleshooting, conducting repairs to hearing aids, earmolds and cleaning of hearing aids.
• Achieve practice growth with a strong mindset on sales and key business metrics while maintaining ethical practice standards.
• Local community outreach including health fairs and developing physician relationships. You represent HearingLife as an advocate to making a life changing difference.
• Counsel patients on the purchase of their hearing aids, devices, and accessories. Maintain a current understanding of third-party payors and various payment methods in accordance with federal and state laws.
• Understand and meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly clinical finance targets working closely with your PCC and Manager to achieve clinics financial KPIs.
• Support Telehealth initiatives (Remote Care) to expand patient care and product portfolio including but not limited conducting hearing tests, coach and educate patients on hearing aid devices.
• Maintain continuing education requirements based on state requirements.
• Ability to operate audiometric equipment and to interpret the results.
• Ability to communicate test results and interpret and propose treatment in a manner easily understood by patients. Communication is key!
