Job summary

HearingLife in Freeport, IL is seeking an Audiologist or Hearing Aid Specialist to join our team in Freeport, IL. You will provide clinical expertise to diagnose and treat hearing loss while delivering outstanding patient care.

Qualifications

• Active Hearing Aid Dispensing License or Audiology License per state requirements.
• 2+ years Hearing Aid sales experience or equivalent in industry training under licensed HIS or AuD.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and aftercare of dispensing services, including hearing tests and fittings.
• Perform checks on hearing aids, troubleshoot, repair, and clean devices.
• Drive practice growth with sales focus while maintaining ethical standards.
• Engage in local outreach, health fairs, and physician relationships to advocate HearingLife.
• Counsel patients on purchases; understand payment methods and third-party payors.
• Meet monthly/quarterly/annual financial targets with PCC and Manager.
• Support Telehealth initiatives to expand remote care and patient education.
• Maintain continuing education per state requirements.
• Operate audiometric equipment and interpret results; communicate results clearly.
• All other duties as assigned.

Education
