Job summary

HearingLife in Waupaca, WI seeks an Audiologist or Hearing Aid Specialist to join our team. You will provide clinical expertise to diagnose and treat hearing loss, ensuring a positive patient experience while upholding licensing standards and growing the patient population.

The role blends clinical care with sales targets; perform tests, fittings, counseling, and community outreach. Relocation or sign-on bonus available, plus 6% uncapped commission and additional incentives.

Qualifications

  • License or board certification as hearing aid dispenser or audiologist.
  • At least 2+ years of hearing aid sales experience or equivalent training.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient counseling.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality care and aftercare of dispensing services such as hearing tests, hearing aid fittings, educate and train hearing aid users of best practices.
  • Perform checks on hearing aids and other amplification devices. This includes troubleshooting, repairs to hearing aids, earmolds and cleaning.
  • Achieve practice growth with a strong mindset on sales and key business metrics while maintaining ethical practice standards.
  • Local community outreach including health fairs and developing physician relationships. You represent HearingLife as an advocate to making a life changing difference.
  • Counsel patients on the purchase of their hearing aids, devices, and accessories. Maintain a current understanding of third-party payors and various payment methods in accordance with federal and state laws.
  • Understand and meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly clinical finance targets working closely with your PCC and Manager to achieve clinics financial KPIs.
  • Support Telehealth initiatives (Remote Care) to expand patient care and product portfolio including but not limited conducting hearing tests, coach and educate patients on hearing aid devices.
  • Maintain continuing education requirements based on state requirements.
  • Ability to operate audiometric equipment and to interpret the results.
  • Ability to communicate test results and interpret and propose treatment in a manner easily understood by patients. Communication is key!
