Job summary

HearingLife is seeking an experienced audiologist to join our team in Albertson, NY. You will provide clinical expertise to diagnose and treat hearing loss while delivering exceptional patient care and growing the patient base.

Responsibilities include hearing tests, fittings, equipment checks, counseling, and collaboration with physicians. The role offers base salary of 85k–95k with uncapped commissions and a focus on work-life balance and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Active Hearing Aid Dispensing License or Audiology License per state requirements.
• 2+ years Hearing Aid sales experience or 2 years equivalent in industry training under a licensed HIS or AuD.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and aftercare of dispensing services such as hearing tests, hearing aid fittings, educate and train hearing aid users of best practices.
• Perform checks on hearing aids and other amplification devices, including troubleshooting and repairs.
• Achieve practice growth with a focus on sales and key business metrics while maintaining ethical standards.
• Local community outreach including health fairs and developing physician relationships, representing HearingLife to patients.
• Counsel patients on purchases of hearing aids and accessories, understanding third-party payors and various payment methods.
• Meet monthly, quarterly and yearly clinical finance targets with the PCC and Manager to achieve KPIs.
• Support Telehealth initiatives to expand patient care and product portfolio.
• Maintain continuing education requirements per state requirements.
• Operate audiometric equipment and interpret results, communicating test results clearly to patients.
• All other duties as assigned
