Job summary

Advocate Health Care in Wisconsin is seeking a full-time Audiologist to perform and interpret audiological evaluations, determine hearing loss type, and develop care plans for patients. The role includes prescribing and dispensing hearing aids and assistive devices, troubleshooting equipment, documenting patient care and billing, and counseling patients and families about communication challenges.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Audiology required.
• Audiology license issued by the state.
• No experience required.
• BLS certification within 6 months unless exempted by leadership.

Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret audiological evaluations to assess hearing loss and vestibular disorders.
• Prescribe and dispense hearing aids and assistive devices.
• Troubleshoot and repair hearing aids or escalate as needed.
• Document patient care and billing per department policy.
• Counsel patients and families regarding hearing loss and communication challenges.
• Manage caseload and assist with staff training and development.
