Job summary

You will document care per policy, participate in quality improvement, and educate students and staff. A Master’s Degree in Audiology and state license are required, along with BLS within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Audiology is required.
• Audiology license required in the state of practice.
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire, unless exempted.

Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret audiological evaluations to determine the type and severity of hearing loss and related disorders.
• Prescribe and dispense hearing aids, assistive listening devices, and hearing protection devices; troubleshoot and repair as needed.
• Complete documentation for patient care and billing.
• Counsel patients and families on hearing loss and communication difficulties.
• Participate in performance improvement activities to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Apply insurance guidelines for proper authorization of services.
