Advocate Health is seeking a full-time Audiologist in Milwaukee to evaluate and treat hearing and balance disorders. The role involves patient assessments, diagnosing types of hearing loss, and developing individualized care plans.

You will fit hearing aids and assistive devices, troubleshoot devices, and document patient care in accordance with department policy. The position requires a Master's in Audiology and an active audiology license.

Qualifikationen

• Master's Degree in Audiology.
• Audiology license required for providing services.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within 6 months unless exempt.

Aufgaben

• Conduct and interpret audiological evaluations to determine hearing loss type and severity.
• Prescribe and dispense hearing aids and assistive devices; troubleshoot and repair devices as needed.
• Document patient care per department policy including notes, summaries and billing.
• Counsel patients and families on hearing loss, amplification and communication strategies.
