Qualifications

• Master's degree in Audiology required.
• Audiology license issued by the state where services are provided.
• BLS certification within 6 months unless exempted by leadership.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and listening skills.
• Good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs and interprets audiological evaluations to determine type and severity of hearing loss or vestibular disorders.
• Establishes plan of care and implements treatment based on evaluation results and goals.
• Prescribes and dispenses hearing aids, assistive devices, and hearing protection devices.
• Completes required documentation including progress notes and discharge summaries.
• Counsels patients and families regarding hearing loss and amplification, and coordinates care.
