Job summary

HealthDrive is hiring an Audiologist for a full-time, mobile role serving Reading/Allentown, PA area facilities. The position offers a pathway to $100k+ annually for a five‑day workweek with a $10,000 sign-on bonus prorated by schedule. Expect a patient-base with no quotas and full administrative and regulatory support.

The role involves on-site diagnostic testing, hearing aid management, and coordination of care across long-term care settings. Daily travel with a valid license is required.

Qualifications

• Masters or Doctorate degree in Audiology.
• Current state professional license.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive examinations, evaluations, and auditory consultation.
• Hearing aid evaluations, selections and repairs.
• Dispense and adjust new hearing aids.
• Cerumen management where allowed by state regulations.
• Document patient care in our EMR system and code services accordingly.
• Follow OSHA guidelines for patient care and equipment sterilization.

Responsibilities

Role Overview & Responsibilities for Audiologists:

• Conduct comprehensive examinations, evaluations, and auditory consultation.
• Traditional daily patient care will include comprehensive diagnostic audiological examinations, hearing aid evaluations, hearing aid selections and repair.
• Dispense and adjust new hearing aids.
• Perform cerumen management, where allowed by state professional regulations.
• Complete required patient and clinical documentation in our proprietary electronic medical record system.
• Responsible for applying proper coding guidelines and populating appropriate billing codes for services provided to patients.
• Adheres to OSHA guidelines regarding patient care, disposal of materials, and sterilization of equipment.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Audiology background with proficiency in the assessment, treatment, management and evaluation of hearing disorders.
• Ability to work independently on a daily basis.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to use EMR, text, email, the internet and to learn other healthcare related software.
• Self starter attitude with the desire to deliver quality, thoughtful and attentive care.

Physical Requirements for Audiologist:

• Ability to stand, to bend, and to lift.
• Ability to transport mobile audiology equipment (maximum of 15 lbs.).
• May be occasional required to transport patients in wheelchairs.

Education & Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctorate Degree in Audiology
• Current State professional license.
• Valid driver’s license.

Travel:

This is a mobile position. Daily travel is based on the patient care requirements for the specified service area; your Practice. A valid driver’s license and the ability to drive significant distances on occasion is required.
