Job summary

HealthDrive is seeking a full-time Audiologist to work in Wernersville, PA and surrounding areas. The role involves comprehensive audiology services, hearing aid evaluations, fittings, and cerumen management with autonomy and patient-centered care.

Excellent compensation with a $10k sign-on bonus and a potential $100k+ annual earnings, prorated as per schedule. Travel is required for on-site duties across facilities, with full administrative and EMR support.

Qualifications

  • Audiology background with proficiency in assessment, treatment, management and evaluation of hearing disorders.
  • Ability to work independently on a daily basis.
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to use EMR, text, email, the internet and to learn other healthcare related software.
  • Self starter attitude with the desire to deliver quality, thoughtful and attentive care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive examinations, evaluations, and auditory consultation.
  • Daily patient care includes diagnostic audiological examinations, hearing aid evaluations and selections, and repairs.
  • Dispense and adjust new hearing aids.
  • Perform cerumen management as allowed by state regulations.
  • Complete required patient and clinical documentation in the EMR system.
  • Populate billing codes for services provided to patients.
  • Adhere to OSHA guidelines for patient care and sterilization.

Responsibilities
Role Overview & Responsibilities for Audiologists
  • Conduct comprehensive examinations, evaluations, and auditory consultation.
  • Traditional daily patient care will include comprehensive diagnostic audiological examinations, hearing aid evaluations, hearing aid selections and repair.
  • Dispense and adjust new hearing aids.
  • Perform cerumen management, where allowed by state professional regulations.
  • Complete required patient and clinical documentation in our proprietary electronic medical record system.
  • Responsible for applying proper coding guidelines and populating appropriate billing codes for services provided to patients.
  • Adheres to OSHA guidelines regarding patient care, disposal of materials, and sterilization of equipment.
Qualifications
  • Audiology background with proficiency in the assessment, treatment, management and evaluation of hearing disorders.
  • Ability to work independently on a daily basis.

Physical Requirements For Audiologist
  • Ability to stand, to bend, and to lift.
  • Ability to transport mobile audiology equipment (maximum of 15 lbs.).
  • May be occasional required to transport patients in wheelchairs.
Education & Qualifications
  • Masters or Doctorate Degree in Audiology
  • Current State professional license.
  • Valid driver’s license.
Travel

This is a mobile position. Daily travel is based on the patient care requirements for the specified service area; your Practice. A valid driver’s license and the ability to drive significant distances on occasion is required.
