Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel in Philadelphia is seeking an Audio Visual Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain AV equipment across venues, conference rooms, and events. You will support video and audio systems, manage inventory, and assist marketing and event teams.

The role requires strong guest service, the ability to work flexible hours including evenings and on-call rotations, and a technical degree or certification with at least two years’ AV experience.

Qualifications

• Education: Technical degree or certification preferred
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Audio / Visual
• Excellent technical, problem solving, interpersonal, oral & written communication skills
• Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and provide end-user support for Audio Visual equipment and AV control systems
• Set-up, operate, and troubleshoot video and audio systems
• Maintain AV equipment inventory; replacements and/or inventory requests
• Maintain and assist in back-of-house AV including conference rooms and training rooms
• Assist on special event systems support, entertainment systems, back of house AV systems, and marketing and media systems
• Work hours including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays; participate in on-call rotation
• Ensure safety and security of guests, clients, entertainers and team members

Responsibilities

Where You’ll Make an Impact

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and provide end-user support for Audio Visual equipment and Audio Visual control systems; including peripherals, PC's, speakers, TVs, LED Walls, amplifiers, RF equipment, Ethernet hardware, cabling systems, control system hardware and AV related software
• Set-up, operate, and troubleshoot video and audio systems
• Maintain AV equipment inventory; replacements and/or inventory requests
• Maintain and assist in all back-of-house A/V including conference rooms and training rooms
• Assist and advise on special event systems support, entertainment systems, back of house AV systems, as well as marketing and media systems
• This is a non-uniformed position, which requires the team member to be in compliance with non-uniformed appearance standards while on duty
• Work flexible hours including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays including but not limited to participating in the on-call rotation program
• Ensuring the safety and security of all guests, clients, entertainers and team members/employees
• Other duties as assigned

• Experience in audio / video setup and maintenance
• Knowledge of signal flow for audio and video
• Knowledge of IT Network Infrastructure
• Ability to install new and maintain existing hardware
• Strong guest service skills
• Communicate effectively and efficiently
• Advanced knowledge of Audio Visual and AV control systems
• Experience with QSys, Crestron, ETC, Mosaic, Paradigm, and/or Analog Way preferred
• Excellent technical, problem solving, interpersonal, oral & written communication skills
