Job summary

MMD Services Inc. is seeking an onsite AV Technician to manage conference room AV systems and provide hands-on end-user support for the firm’s global offices. You will ensure cameras, codecs, mics, and touch panels are ready for every meeting and that global calls run without interruption.

You will troubleshoot Zoom, WebEx, and Logitech hardware, lead room builds and AV projects, and deliver white-glove support to traders and executives in a fast-paced hedge-fund trading environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or substantial experience in AV/IT support, preferably in finance.
• Proven ability to support high-availability, executive-level meetings.
• Experience with Zoom Rooms, WebEx Room devices, and room scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Own conference room AV setup, daily readiness, and break/fix support.
• Support Zoom, WebEx, and Logitech conferencing hardware end-to-end.
• Lead AV installs, room builds, upgrades, and equipment refreshes.
• Provide white-glove support for global meetings and senior leaders.

With offices in Chicago, New York City, Miami, London, Hong Kong and over 2,000 employees they are in search of a new full-time AV Technician.

This AV Technician owns conference room technology and hands-on end user support across the firm. This person keeps every meeting room camera-ready and every global call running without a hitch, while also supporting day to day hardware, software, and connectivity needs. We seek a proactive, motivated technical expert who can operate independently and collaboratively within a broader global team.

Given the fast paced trading environment and sensitive nature of the financial services industry, this is an onsite role downtown New York City.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own conference room AV setup, daily readiness, and break/fix support across all meeting spaces
• Support and troubleshoot Zoom, WebEx, and Logitech conferencing hardware, including cameras, codecs, mics, and touch panels
• Lead AV installs and special projects across offices, including new room builds, upgrades, and equipment refreshes
• Provide live, white glove AV support for important global meetings, ensuring zero disruption for senior leadership and cross office calls
• Manage and troubleshoot Sedna for meeting room scheduling and AV coordination
• Partner with global IT and facilities teams to keep AV standards consistent across all office locations
• Identify, triage, diagnose, and resolve complex, time sensitive technical issues with a strong sense of urgency
• Provide white glove, high touch support to end users, including traders and senior executives (tickets, email, & phone)
• Deliver high availability technical support in a fast-paced hedge fund trading environment, ensuring zero downtime through rapid incident response, proactive monitoring, and real-time troubleshooting of critical systems
• Escalate incidents as needed and coordinate with internal IT teams & third-party vendors to drive timely resolution
• Partner with distributed teams on asset management, large-scale moves, and complex hardware deployments
• Lead incident response and escalation for firm wide technology issues, maintaining detailed documentation to support proactive problem management
• Troubleshoot a wide range of technical issues across hardware, software, user accounts, trading systems, operating systems, and mobile devices

Required Skills & Experience:

• Hands-on experience with conference room AV hardware, including Logitech Rally/MeetUp systems, cameras, codecs, and touch panels
• Experience configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting Zoom Rooms and WebEx Room devices, including firmware updates
• Experience leading AV installs, room builds, and special AV projects end to end
• Experience supporting live, high visibility global meetings and executive level AV needs with a zero downtime mindset
• Experience with Sedna or similar meeting room scheduling and AV coordination platforms
• Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) and/or 5+ years of relevant technical support experience preferred
• Proven experience delivering white-glove support to senior leadership and VIP users in high availability environments with a zero downtime mindset
• Strong expertise troubleshooting desktop hardware, peripherals, and printers
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Intune, including device enrollment, configuration profiles, compliance policies, application deployment, and endpoint security across Windows, macOS, and mobile (iOS/Android) environments
• Deep understanding of mobility and remote access technologies, including Windows laptops, MDM solutions, MFA, VPN, and remote connectivity
• Advanced troubleshooting skills across Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, and add-ins)
• Strong knowledge of Azure AD (Entra ID), DNS, DHCP, Microsoft Exchange, and TCP/IP networking
• Demonstrated professionalism with exceptional customer service skills, including responsiveness, attention to detail, composure, and follow-through
