Job summary

Innova Solutions is seeking an Audio-Visual Technician for a full-time, 6-month contract in St. Louis, MO. You will install AV systems, pull cables, mount projects, and support projector setups while configuring control programs (AMX/Crestron). A 1–3 year AV installation background and a High School Diploma or GED are required.

Reading schematics, using hand and power tools, and ensuring system point-to-point functionality are essential. Valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of Audio-Visual installation experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Install AV systems including pulling cable, mounting projects and related fabrication.
• Field install control programs (AMX/Crestron) with upload/download capability.
• Make minor programming changes under engineer direction.
• Read schematics and blueprints; use hand/power tools to solder and crimp connectors.
• Install projector and screen support structures; test point-to-point functionality.

Audio-Visual Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform installation tasks for audio visual projects including but not limited to pulling cable, installing connectors, mounting projects, and metal fabrication
• Field installation of control programs (AMX/Crestron) - upload and download capability
• Make minor programming changes under the direction of an engineer or programmer
• Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints
• Use hand and power tools to solder and crimp connectors along with various other AV systems related tasks
• Projector and screen support structure installations
• Test point to point functionality of systems

Requirements

• 1-3 years of Audio- Visual installation
• Experience with installation of control programs (AMX/Crestron)
• High School Diploma OR GED
• Valid Driver's License

Salary and Benefits

Pay Range*: $25.00/hr to $37.00/hr

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
