The position requires at least 2 years in AV installation and maintenance, strong IT/network understanding, and the ability to manage multiple projects with occasional weekend/evening hours. Background check and drug screening apply.

Qualifications

Join our team as an Audio Visual Systems Specialist where your technical skills in AV equipment and integration will ensure seamless communication across our corporate environments.

As an Audio Visual Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting high-quality audio visual technology in corporate meeting spaces, collaboration areas, digital signage, and live events. Your expertise in Microsoft Teams Rooms, AV control systems like Crestron and MAXHUB, and digital signage platforms such as OptiSigns and MOOD Media will be essential to support effective communication and business continuity.

Job Details

• LOCATION: Richardson, TX 75080
• POSITION: Contract
• SCHEDULE: 8:00am to 5:00pm M-F
• PAY RATE: $30.00 hour

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AV systems based on business requirements
• Install and configure audio-visual equipment including microphones, speakers, video displays and digital signage players

• Collaborate with other team members and departments to deliver integrated AV solutions
• Provide technical support and training to end-users of AV systems
• Update and maintain detailed documentation for AV systems and installations

• Manage inventory and order new AV equipment as needed

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school education is a plus
• Minimum 2 years of experience in audio-visual system installation and maintenance
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Teams Rooms and AV integration
• Knowledge of AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, MAXHUB)
• Knowledge of digital signage systems (e.g., OptiSigns, MOOD Media)
• Knowledge of network and IT infrastructure as it relates to AV systems
• Previous experience in a similar role within the corporate sector
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient in the use of AV equipment and tools
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings when necessary
