Job summary

Staff Perm is seeking an Audio Visual Systems Specialist in Richardson, TX for a contract role. You will install, configure, and troubleshoot AV systems across meeting spaces and live events, using Teams Rooms, Crestron, MAXHUB, and digital signage platforms.

The position requires at least 2 years in AV installation and maintenance, strong IT/network understanding, and the ability to manage multiple projects with occasional weekend/evening hours. Background check and drug screening apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school education is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in audio-visual system installation and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Teams Rooms and AV integration.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AV systems based on business requirements.
• Install and configure microphones, speakers, video displays and digital signage players.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure AV systems function properly.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver integrated AV solutions.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users of AV systems.
• Update and maintain detailed documentation for AV systems and installations.
• Stay updated with latest AV technologies and industry trends.
• Conduct testing and performance evaluations to identify improvements.
• Manage inventory and order new AV equipment as needed.
• Assist in setup and management of live events and presentations.
