Rentex Computer & Audio Visual Rentals in La Vergne, TN is seeking a Weekend Quality Control Technician to ensure returned AV gear is checked, repaired if needed, and kept presentable for customers. This full-time role works in the branch warehouse and supports other departments as workload requires.

You will perform QC procedures, log issues, organize equipment, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Experience with professional audio visual equipment and computer equipment.
Basic understanding of inventory software for workload forecasting.
Strong technical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Perform QC procedures on returning equipment.
Ensure cases and equipment are presentable and in working condition.
Diagnose, log, and repair damaged items.
Organize and store all tested equipment.
Process missing or damaged equipment.
Be able to handle hard deadlines and plan workflow depending on client needs.
Provide exceptional customer support for clients.
Follow direction of the department leader and managers.
Assist other departments when necessary.
Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment to ensure safety and compliance.
Comply with company policies and procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
