American Communications Solutions is hiring an Audio-Visual Installation Technician to support the Department of Defense. The technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and service of audio, video, control systems, lighting, and electronic equipment, aligning with company objectives.

1. Install, assemble, and repair AV systems following documentation and industry standards.
2. Maintain updated as-built documentation.
3. Read and interpret project drawings, schematics, and manuals.
4. Experience with AV systems including displays, control systems, and signal routing.
5. Familiarity with multimedia, telecommunication, and secure/non-secure voice communications.
6. Fabricate, cable, and test equipment racks and cabinets.
7. Communicate effectively, handle pressure, and use tools safely.
8. Perform installations and repairs in various environments, including ladders and crawl spaces.
9. Work independently and as part of a team.
10. Manage equipment inventory and coordinate with vendors.
11. Provide post-installation support and documentation.
12. Travel to customer sites as needed.

Minimum requirements include a Secret security clearance and the ability to lift equipment over 100 lbs.
