Job summary

AVI-SPL is seeking an Audio Visual Collaboration Specialist with experience in MS Teams and other virtual meeting platforms to support meetings and conference production. The role involves direct end-user support, room setup, and routine maintenance of AV/VTC systems.

Responsibilities include onsite and remote assistance, show tech support for events, and ensuring safety and compliance during operations.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms (MS Teams, Webex, Zoom).
• Knowledge of basic signal flow for audio, video, and control is a plus.

(MS Teams/Virtual Meeting Platform Experience Preferred)

Audio Visual Collaboration Specialist

(MS Teams/Virtual Meeting Platform Experience Preferred)

• Working knowledge of MS Teams, Webex, Zoom
• Support in person or virtually for meeting assistance or conference production
• Direct end user support on the operation and use of collaboration tools
• Meeting or conference setup activities
• Regular AV and videoconferencing room checks, certifications and preventative maintenance in accordance within established standards
• Provide direct assistance and training to end users in the operation of AV systems
• Perform routine preventive maintenance checks & services on AV/VTC systems
• Perform advanced routine maintenance support on all AV systems including but not limited to basic troubleshooting and system fault isolation, projector lamp changes, filter cleaning, etc.
• Provide Show Tech Support of planned events, both onsite and off, as needed
• Work flexible schedule as required
• Perform administrative tasks such as completing service tickets, maintaining active status board on system readiness, etc.
• Perform service level troubleshooting and maintenance support on AV & VTC systems
• Setup and monitor video calls as needed.
• Always ensure vendor compliance with all Customer safety and procedural guidelines
• Track all maintenance activity start to finish with proper documentation
