Job summary

Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) is seeking a Departmental Technician to support audio/visual recordings, live streams, and staff IT needs. The role includes hardware/software inventory, procurement, and AV setup for meetings via Teams/YouTube.

You will assist with websites, SharePoint, and technical support across the organization, including new device deployment and remote staff assistance.

Qualifications

• Education typically acquired through completion of high school.
• Two years of college may substitute for the experience requirement.
• Bachelor’s degree may substitute for the experience requirement.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support and assist 200+ staff with software/hardware needs, in-person and remote.
• Assist with hardware/software inventory, procurement, and reporting of IT purchases.
• Administer and support MPSC websites and SharePoint sites; assist with content and graphics.
