Job summary

Meta is seeking experienced Audio Software Engineers to join our product teams. You’ll help build audio features across Messenger, Video, Groups, News Feed, Search, AR/VR, GenAI and more for billions of users.

Responsibilities include R&D in audio processing, codecs, and network loss/jitter compensation, improving scalability and reliability, and collaborating with product and research to deploy audio technologies as-a-service and as-a-platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years software development experience in industry settings.
• 3+ years in relevant audio software engineering experience including audio software for real-time applications.
• C or C++ experience, including use of C++11/14/17 features.

Responsibilities

• R&D in audio processing/framework, codecs, and network-related loss/jitter compensation.
• Identify areas of scalability, performance, quality and reliability improvement across the stack.
• Collaborate with product and research teams to deploy audio technologies as-a-service and as-a-platform.
