Join us!Software Engineer, Audio SWE Responsibilities:R&D in the areas of general audio processing/framework, audio codecs, and network related loss/jitter compensation to deliver high-quality quality across the family of appsIdentify areas of scalability, performance, quality and reliability improvement across the stackCollaborate closely with both product and research teams to deploy new audio technologies as-a-service and as-a-platformMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience5+ years software development experience in industry settings3+ years in relevant audio software engineering experience including audio software for video conferencing or other real-time communication applicationsC or C++ experience, including use of C++11/14/17 featuresDemonstrated communication skills and experience working across disciplines to drive optimal solutions and supporting cross functional teamsPreferred Qualifications:Experience in audio signal processing and auditory perception, both classical and machine learned techniquesDemonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologiesProven track record of innovation as demonstrated by products shipped, publications and/or patentsExperience with audio stack including codecs, audio capture/render, and network compensation/jitter bufferExperience with GenAIExperience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)About Meta:Meta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
