Job summary

Amazon is seeking a motivated Audio Lab Engineer to join the Audio and Data Technology group. You will work with hardware and software teams to design test plans and run script-based tests on devices, while improving data collection quality and efficiency for large-scale projects.

The role emphasizes collaboration with internal customers, field support, and rigorous QA to ensure devices meet target requirements. Previous Linux/Unix and consumer electronics lab experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of consumer electronics lab environments experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in a consumer electronics lab environment.
• Experience in a Linux or Unix environment.
• Experience working on a consumer hardware or software product.

Responsibilities

• Create test plans and test cases with hardware and software teams.
• Run test cases on devices and execute use case scenarios.
• Write, read, and develop test scripts in Python with Software teams.
• Interpret results, report testing outcomes, and track bugs to resolution.
• Support field operations, setup, verification of system components, and documentation of best practices.
