Quality Assurance Engineer II

Responsibilities:
- Lead testing of large‑scale software systems.
- Develop, document, and coordinate manual and automated test plans, test cases, and test execution for complex systems.
- Design and implement automated test suites for mobile device‑based graphical user interfaces using Selenium, Java, Playwright, and other automation frameworks.
- Design, develop, and execute quality assurance test cases for distributed software systems, including white‑box and black‑box testing.
- Work closely with engineers, business owners, and customer‑service professionals throughout the software development cycle, including requirements gathering and design reviews.
- Consult with project management and development teams on testing strategies, planning, and implementation of new or modified procedures.
- Provide detailed status reports on project progress, test results, defects discovered, and defect resolution.
- Maintain a testing repository and support release coordination, including home‑office telecommuting configuration.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer, Software Test Developer, or analogous role.
- At least two (2) years of experience in each of the following:
- Documenting and coordinating deployment of manual and automated tests for complex systems.
- Owning full test strategy through test completion for major software components.
- Automation for consumer‑facing front‑end applications.
- Testing across a full stack system, including front‑end, services, or databases.
- Writing Java or Python‑based test automation.
- Testing in an Agile development environment.
- At least one (1) year of experience in each of the following:
- Load testing.
- AWS Hydra testing.
- Playwright test automation.
- Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree with five (5) years of related experience is acceptable.
Salary: $140,525 – $160,000 per year.
