HP is seeking an Audio and DSP Development Engineering Intern in Scotts Valley, California for a 12-week paid summer internship. This role focuses on building an automated audio regression test platform and collaborating with cross-functional teams to validate audio performance.

SPONSORSHIP

This opportunity is intended for conversion to a full-time role that will not offer work authorization sponsorship in the future (full-time conversion pending performance evaluation post internship and available headcount). Interested candidates must be currently eligible to work in the US AND must not require work authorization sponsorship in the future. The Team

Responsibilities

• The intern will develop an automated audio regression test platform capable of evaluating device audio performance, detecting regressions, and generating detailed validation reports.


• The intern will work closely with audio, hardware, and software engineering teams to design test fixtures, implement Python-based automation tools, collect and analyze measurement data, and improve the efficiency and reliability of the audio validation process throughout the product development lifecycle.

Education and Experience Required

• Currently enrolled in a four-year college or Masters program


• Returning to school for at least one semester following the internship.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $33 to $37 per hour (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
