Earthjustice is seeking an Audience Editor to tailor written communications for specific audiences and channels. This supervisory role oversees two writers, coaching across the Editorial team and guiding content with audience research and performance data insights.

The Audience Editor will work a full-time schedule and may hybrid-work across multiple cities or remotely within the continental United States. This role emphasizes inclusion, collaboration, and learning within Earth's Communications

Qualifications

• 7+ years writing and editing in a fast-paced environment.
• 2+ years in a defined editing role with coaching experience.
• Experience creating content for social media, digital advertising, and/or email teams.
• Demonstrated ability to produce writing that advances audience development goals.
• Experience gathering audience analytics and drawing actionable lessons from data.

Responsibilities

• Oversee editing for target audiences and channels.
• Lead content strategy and performance testing.
• Coach two staff writers and provide feedback.
• Manage administrative, budgeting, and personnel tasks for reports.
