Job summary

Audi Shawnee Mission, part of Baxter Auto Group, is seeking an experienced Service Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles, road-test completed work, and communicate ETA to customers. The role emphasizes continuous learning, maintaining an organized shop, and supporting a team-driven environment across our multi-brand platforms.

The position offers a competitive salary with a strong benefits package and a schedule Monday–Friday with rare Saturday rotation.

Qualifications

• Complete system diagnostics and automotive troubleshooting.
• Road-test vehicle to ensure quality repair work.
• Communicate with service advisors regarding status and ETA.
• Continuously learn new technical information in formal training.
• Maintain an organized and neat shop area.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.

Responsibilities

• Complete system diagnostics and full automotive troubleshooting and testing.
• Road-test vehicle to ensure quality repair work was completed.
• Communicate directly with service advisors regarding the status of the service work as well as the estimated time for completion so that customers can be informed.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Maintain an organized and neat shop area.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.
