Job summary

Audi Shawnee Mission is hiring a Service Technician to perform complete system diagnostics, automotive troubleshooting, and quality repairs. You will road-test vehicles and communicate status to service advisors to keep guests informed, while continually learning new technical information in formal training to stay current with evolving automotive technology.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.
• Audi/Volkswagen experience preferred
• European experience is ideal

Responsibilities

• Complete system diagnostics and full automotive troubleshooting and testing.
• Road-test vehicle to ensure quality repair work was completed.
• Communicate directly with service advisors regarding the status of the service work as well as the estimated time for completion so that customers can be informed.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Maintain an organized and neat shop area.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.
