Job summary

MAC.BID is seeking a Removal Check In/Out Clerk to join the Removal Team at our Spartanburg/Cowpens warehouse. You will scan customers as they arrive, guide them through the queue, and scan items when they leave with purchases.

The role emphasizes friendly service to bidders and accurate handling of scans and processes. Responsibilities include supporting the team, following policies, and maintaining efficiency during eight-hour shifts with weekends possible.

Qualifications

• On-site availability and flexible Mon-Sat shifts.
• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods.
• Able to lift 25 lbs alone, 50 lbs with a team.
• Follow written directions and company policies.
• Tech-savvy and highly organized.
• Detail-oriented and customer-focused.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scan each customer’s email or phone code using the scan device as they arrive at the warehouse.
• Explain to each customer that they are in the queue before checkout.
• Scan each customer’s auction items when picked up.
• Make customers glad they have won an item to encourage continued bidding.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
