AutoNation is seeking a Title Clerk in Ellenwood, GA to prepare tag and title documents and submit them to the DMV. You will verify fees, maintain vehicle jackets, and ship titles to customers. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of dealership experience preferred.
• Previous tag and title experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of title & DMV laws and regulations required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Experience with DMV and/or Auction Edge/ASI auction systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Preparing tag and title documents.
• Submitting all legal transfer documents to the DMV.
• Preparing checks to reimburse Buyers for DMV fees.
• Inputting title information into the auction software for sold cars.
• Determining outstanding fees owed through VIN lookups in state systems.
• Preparing and maintaining vehicle jackets.
• Keeping titles secured until customers come in to retrieve them.
• Preparing express shipments or registered mail and shipping titles to customers.
• Administering all title processing for auction transactions.
• Create title reports and amounts owed for flooring companies.
• Keeping current with applicable state laws.
• Monitoring and staying updated with DMV laws and regulations.
