Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of dealership experience preferred.
• Previous tag and title experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Comprehensive knowledge of title & DMV laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and strong customer service skills.
• Experience with DMV and/or Auction Edge/ASI auction systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tag and title documents for DMV submission.
• Submit all legal transfer documents to the DMV.
• Prepare checks to reimburse DMV fees.
• Input title information into auction software for sold cars.
• Look up VINs in state DMV system to determine outstanding fees.
• Prepare and maintain vehicle jackets.
• Secure titles until customers retrieve them.
• Prepare express shipments or registered mail with titles.
• Administer all title processing for auction transactions.
• Create title reports and amounts owed for flooring companies.
• Stay current with DMV laws and regulations.
