Job summary

Heritage Auctions is seeking an experienced SEO leader to drive strategy across a large, multi-category marketplace. You will own the SEO vision for canonical entities, inventory lifecycles, and answer engines, collaborating with product, content, and engineering teams.

You will optimize discovery, funnel performance, and conversions, leveraging data-driven testing and cross-functional partnerships to maximize auction results and audience growth.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of progressive SEO experience with measurable outcomes for a large, technical marketplace.
• Experience managing complex entity relationships and multiple conversion paths.
• Deep fluency in crawling/indexing, canonicalization, structured data, JS rendering, IA, internal linking, migrations, page performance, logs and templates.
• Knowledge of AEO/GEO and AI discovery within entity strategy and machine-readable content.
• Ability to connect organic discovery to lead-generation and transaction funnels and differentiate conversions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the SEO strategy and roadmap for a large marketplace.
• Own dashboards, forecasting, experiments, and executive reporting tied to consignments and bidder engagement.
• Define entity representation to improve discovery and accuracy across catalogue, auctions, and archives.
