Job summary

CarMax is seeking an Auction Services Associate for our West Point, VA location. You will maintain vehicle zones, prepare and process vehicles for sale or auction, and ensure inventory accuracy through scanning and reconciliation.

You'll support auction operations and help train new associates on safety and procedures. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work flexible hours including nights and weekends, and operate in outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• Must read, interpret, and enter data accurately to maintain reliable inventory records.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Strong multitasking in a high-energy environment.
• Solid inventory management awareness and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily inventory appearance and security.
• Document and track incoming/outgoing inventory through shipping and receiving.
• Receive, prepare, and process vehicles for sale or auction.
• Support auction operations to enable a seamless experience.
• Contribute to new associate training on best practices and safety.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent
