Job summary

AutoNation is seeking an Assistant General Manager ( AGM ) to drive auction operations under the General Manager. You will collaborate with department managers, oversee sale-day logistics, maximize profits, monitor budgets, and provide hands-on team support while ensuring customer needs are met.

You will lead auction teams, manage relationships with customers, and align daily activities with AutoNation's strategic priorities and brand presence at events and sales.

Responsibilities

• Lead auction operations to meet sales and financial goals.
• Monitor and manage all auction logistics and operations.
• Grow the business by pursuing new auction sales opportunities.
• Review monthly forecasts with Controller and GM.
• Maintain relationships with customers and represent AutoNation at events.
• Communicate AutoNation's vision and priorities internally and externally.
• Assist with annual budget preparation including payroll and expenses.
• Plan staffing and ensure efficient customer service.
• Coordination of sale day setup and registration information.
