Job summary

Heritage Auctions, the world’s largest collectibles auctioneer, seeks a candidate to present consignment items, including sorting, labeling, heavy lifting, and pre-auction preparation. Responsibilities include unpacking, tagging, and entering property information into the database, plus assisting with client pickups after auctions.

Location is south of Dallas, TX. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and handle post-auction shipping duties.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Outlook and Excel.
• Ability to multitask and pay great attention to detail.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Pre-auction tasks: Enter item information into the computer system accurately; Ensure all items are imaged promptly; Prepare (sort, clean, and label) items for auction; Must be comfortable with the day-to-day heavy lifting of comics.
• Post-auction tasks: Prepare orders for shipping in compliance with established procedures; Ship orders immediately after auctions; Process and forward items remaining onsite until payments are received.
• Inform supervisors of any discrepancies or issues.
• Other duties may be assigned.

SUMMARY

Responsible for presenting consignment items, which include sorting, heavy lifting, cleaning, and labeling. This position will help unpack, tag, and enter property information into the database and assist with client pickups after auctions.

Requirements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
