Summary: This is an entry-level position responsible for the presentation of consignment items, including sorting, heavy lifting, cleaning, and labeling. The role involves unpacking, tagging, entering property info into the database, and assisting with client pickups post-auction.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience.

Location: South of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, NW corner of W. Airport Freeway (Hwy. 183) and Valley View Lane.

Pre-auction Tasks

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Enter item information into computer system accurately.
• Ensure all items are imaged promptly.
• Prepare (sort, clean, label) items for auction.
• Comfortable with heavy lifting of comics daily.

Post-auction Tasks

• Prepare orders for shipping per procedures.
• Ship orders immediately after auctions.
• Process and forward remaining items until payments are received.
• Report discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Experience

• General knowledge of Comics preferred but not required.

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to multitask and pay great attention to detail.
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds daily.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
