Job summary

Menzies Aviation in Lake Charles is seeking a Supervisor to oversee the fast-paced airport passenger service environment, including check-in, ticketing, and baggage claims. You will provide friendly, efficient service to traveling customers and ensure compliance with uniform guidelines and conduct codes.

The role requires strong English communication, computer literacy, and the ability to stay calm under pressure while guiding passengers through the process from arrival to boarding.

Qualifications

• Experience in airport passenger services preferred.
• Able to read, interpret documents and gate information.
• Must pass background checks and substance misuse policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist passengers with check-ins, verification, gate information, baggage claims, and issues.
• Host self-service kiosks and verify passengers' documents prior to boarding.
• Interpret IDs with baggage and ensure areas are organized (check-in, lobby, gate, baggage).

Role Purpose

The Supervisor will have primary oversight of the fast-paced airport passenger service environment providing quality passenger service, ticketing, check-in processing, luggage claim handling and service assistance to all traveling passengers. This individual must adhere to Menzies Aviation uniform guidelines and codes of conduct

What you will be doing

• Assist passengers with check ins, verification, gate information, baggage claims and any other passenger issues in the airport, be enthusiastic and keep a positive attitude while offering assistance.

• Interpretidentificationlabelsalongwithbaggageandcargoroutingtags.
• Ensurethatallworkareasareorganizedandfunctional(check-in,lobby,gate,baggage).
