Job summary

Fort Worth Zoo is seeking an Attractions Associate to support rides, games, entertainment and attractions operations. The position involves selling attraction tickets, monitoring rides, and helping ensure guest safety while maintaining a fun, family-friendly environment.

Starting pay rate is $14.75 per hour. Applicants must be 16 or older and should be prepared to work weekends and holidays, outdoors in varying weather, and to follow all safety procedures and park rules.

Qualifications

• Must be sixteen (16) years of age or older.
• Possess skills to operate basic office equipment.
• Computer knowledge in Windows programs.
• Prior cash handling experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Work as an attendant and follow standard operating procedures in the following areas: Train, Carousel, Playbarn, Safari Splash water park.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all Zoo guests.
• Follow and adhere to all established safety standards and policies.
• Operate cash register and follow established Zoo cash handling procedures.
• Maintain appearance and cleanliness of attractions areas.
• Assist guests loading and unloading from rides.
• Assist guests entering and exiting attractions.
