Trustpoint.One is pleased to partner with a well-established, multidisciplinary law firm in Lancaster, PA in its search for a Workers’ Compensation Associate to join its growing office. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney seeking hands-on case responsibility, direct partner mentorship, and long-term growth potential within a collaborative environment.

The position is open due to an internal promotion, reflecting the firm’s commitment to developing and advancing its attorneys.

Position Overview

The incoming associate will manage an active workers’ compensation caseload and step into files with minimal ramp-up time. This role offers meaningful courtroom exposure, direct client interaction, and collaboration with an experienced partner in a busy and respected practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a workers’ compensation caseload from inception through resolution
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and related filings
• Represent clients in hearings, depositions, mediations, and conferences
• Maintain required billable hours (historically ~176 hours/month target)
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Collaborate closely with supervising partner and team members

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active Pennsylvania bar license in good standing
• 1–3 years of Pennsylvania workers’ compensation experience preferred
• Insurance defense experience will be considered
• Ability to independently manage files and meet deadlines
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and litigation management systems preferred
• $100,000 - $125,000 base salary commensurate with experience

This is a fully in-office position (5 days per week) in Lancaster, PA. The office maintains a collaborative, team-oriented culture. While the firm strongly prefers in-office presence, limited flexibility may be considered for exceptional candidates. Day travel to hearings and depositions is expected; overnight travel is rare.
