Qualifications

• J.D. preferred qualification for the Attorney Professional Development Manager role.
• 5+ years' experience in a global law firm with involvement in training, review processes, mentoring, and other professional development programs.
• Professional demeanor and effective oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, problem solving, and multitask.
• Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills; ability to tailor written work product to the audience.
• Demonstrated resourcefulness, creativity, and self‑directed behavior.
• Established project management skills and ability to progress on long‑term projects.
• Ability to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels and gain buy‑in from firm leaders and stakeholders.
• Judgment to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Department Heads and Practice Group Leaders to foster a culture of engagement and client service.
• Foster relationships with Partners, Associates, and Counsel through regular communication.
• Support Associates and Counsel’s career development within practice groups, including mentoring programs.
• Coordinate leaves of absence transitions and flexible work arrangements.
• Lead talent review processes and coordinate reviews and feedback.
• Monitor Associate and Counsel utilization and promote effective staffing and development opportunities.
• Assist with curriculum design and implementation for Leadership Academies.
• Coordinate DEI and wellbeing initiatives within trainings and processes.
